About us

We are a friendly group of like minded individuals with an enthusiasm for all things photographic. The club meets at 8.00pm on Wednesdays, at Lopping Hall, 189 High Road, Loughton, Essex IG10 4LF.  We meet in the Small Hall downstairs. Lopping Hall has disabled access.

We welcome all with an interest in photography. Our members’ experience starts from beginners through to professional level. Images we create include landscapes, natural history, portraits, street reportage, abstract, macro, studio and everything in-between. See “Members’ Galleries” on this site.

Mainly digital (and rarely some film formats) are used with plenty of members on hand to offer help and advice on technical and artistic judgement.

Our members improve their skills and knowledge from workshops, guest speakers and each other. For more information download a copy of: A Guide to Loughton Camera Club
